As a five year old, Kevin looked a bit like Danny from The Shining. In his parents' warped minds, this resemblance was enough to justify screening the film for him. This could have primed him to become a sadistic ax murderer, instead it was the starting point of his cinephilia. After minoring in film and getting his MEd, Kevin failed to become a real teacher. Those who can, do; those who can’t, teach; those who can’t teach move to Brooklyn, work part time as a production assistant, an aide for children in the autism spectrum, and a transcriber for the raw footage of a reality show. Kevin can currently be found back in Ohio, watching films and swearing that he’ll be back to Brooklyn once his temp job as an editor’s assistant ends.
