James has been reviewing films for nearly three years, in which time he has been read by nearly two dozen people. He has made a few thousand bucks from being published in the Northern Iowan and the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, cementing his status as the luckiest man he knows. Fate has seen to it that he is pursuing a master’s degree in English at the University of Northern Iowa. James regularly directs people to his blog Whispers of a Cinematic Echo instead of the newspapers because no one edits out his swear words on the web. He lives in Cedar Falls, IA, with his ginger girlfriend and gun collection.
